  4. Included in this Read Me is technical information regarding externals.  If you are not a programmer, you will not need this information.

  7. Externals may be written in C or Pascal and need to include the header “ResolveTools.h”.  Finished externals may be either saved as standalone applications or included directly into the resource fork of worksheets.

  10. The scripts entitled “Picture” and “Sound” include externals within them.  Examine the comments in those scripts as an example of how to access externals.  In addition, “Sound” places resources directly into worksheets when sounds are recorded.
